Family Therapy

Relationships play a key part in our lives. As couples and families grow and evolve, multiple stressors can have a significant impact on the harmony in the family. This includes financial pressures, health concerns for individuals, the growing needs of children and ageing parents. This can lead to feelings of frustration, resentment, sadness or 'stickiness'.

Seeking help early can help prevent relationships from deteriorating, allowing the couple and the family to work together in harmony. The Mind Body Practice offers systemic family therapy to couples and families to help the unit work through challenges. The treatment integrates systemic, structural, strategic and narrative therapy approaches. Sessions would focus on understanding how the difficulties came to be, the strengths of the individuals, and work towards developing new patterns of relating.
