About

I am a Clinical Psychologist with vast experience working with children, adolescents and adults. In therapy, my aim is to create an environment that is warm and empowering where you as the client, can be supported to feel good about taking ownership of your full range of emotions.

My aim is to work together with you to develop a deeper understanding of how you got to where you are (emotionally/mentally) and to look into the patterns you may have been following (consciously or not), to work out whether these are in fact helpful. By uncovering and examining those underlying processes and beliefs that impact on daily functioning, I aim to support you in building and implementing evidence-based strategies, and start shifting those entrenched patterns to finally move forward with more confidence and ease.

My sessions are 'client driven', to enable you to determine your treatment goals based on what you hope to achieve from therapy. The techniques that I use are evidence-based (supported by research) but tailored to your strengths, aimed at what works better for you and always with your input. I believe that building a strong and trusting relationship with my clients is the key to any therapeutic change and success.
